Honey Dun
The beautiful Honey Dun was a pale dun millefleur hatched from a batch of eggs from the Netherlands that should have been dun and dun mottled. She was the foundation hen of a unique line. Many of the birds are a similar colour to her. Others have khaki markings, which on mottled birds is so pale as to blend with the white mottling. Hens that inherit two honey colour genes are just a few shades of cream off-white.
Honey mottled pullet. Honey Dun’s daughter.
