Not sure whether these blue mottleds are splash but very even and pale. Very hard to see the mottle.

Blue Tolbunt
Tolbunt, means approximately “jazzy”. It is a combination of mottling and a pattern usually lacing as in this pullet. A lovely broad pullet with great set of tail and a good addition to breed blue into Tolbunts or Millefleur. She is for sale. Cockerels also available.

Smart Tolbunt Wyandottes
My tolbunt hens seem to get better with age; the hens often look better than the pullets. The barred tolbunts look very smart. Very bold black and white, it seems to work better than laced tolbunts. Sometimes they have a bit of black spangled pattern about them which all helps to make this tolbunt a dramatic pattern.

Millefleur means thousand flowers, which is the impression given by this multicoloured pattern. Pullets and cockerels for sale. Lovely type, brilliant layers and lovely easy temperament. They do go broody but not excessively and make wonderful mothers.
